The retail problem

Big catalogs move faster than any spreadsheet

A category manager owns two thousand SKUs and five competitors. Checking even the top two hundred by hand takes a day, and by then the prices have moved again. So pricing decisions are made on last week’s view, or on no view at all.

PriceIntel does the checking on schedule and starts the day with what changed: who undercut you, where the biggest money gaps are, and which products need a decision.

What you get

Built for how retail & ecommerce is actually sold

One status per product

Best price, same price, someone is cheaper, or no other seller, counted the same way on Home, Products, Reports and in the email.

Who undercuts you most

Competitor pressure ranks the rivals that beat you most often, so promotions and negotiations aim at the right one.

Price suggestions

One per product from the cheapest in-stock competitor, your sales rate and the strategy you chose, never below cost plus minimum profit.

What we read

Every listing, every check

Price and delivery

Item price plus delivery cost, so a cheaper item with expensive delivery is not mistaken for the cheapest offer.

Stock

In stock or out per read, with low-stock and units-sold signals where sites show them.

Promotions

The struck “was” price and promotion badges.

Proof page

A saved copy of every page read.

How it works

Up and running in three steps

  1. 01

    Share your catalogue

Upload a spreadsheet with your products and the listings to watch: resellers, marketplaces, rival brands. Up to 10 links per product. Add cost prices to unlock profit-aware suggestions.

  2. 02

    Pages are checked on schedule

Weekly to several times a day, plus manual checks. Each read records price, delivery, stock, the struck price and promotions, and saves a copy of the page as proof.

  3. 03

    Review and act

Home shows what moved since the last check and the products needing attention. One suggested price per product, with the reason, which you apply or skip.

Who uses it

One account, several desks

Category managers

The products in your category where a competitor moved, with the gap in money.

Pricing teams

Price history, position and suggestions per product; exports for the pricing model.

eCommerce managers

Your listings against Amazon, eBay and Google Shopping rivals.

Buyers and merchandising

Stock opportunities where every tracked competitor is out.
